So, it's Friday night, some guys want some work done in IE 6 (the bane of developers existence, across the board) and naturally you don't want to stay home. Oh, what to do. Well, I hit up my good buddy, Josh and he mentions Java Jones @ 631 9th Avenue
San Diego, CA 92101.
It is definitely my favorite place now. I got to listen to The Larson Sisters, Wendy Bailey and Kim Koop I had some iced Mango Black Tea, as well (pretty awesome). Not a bad way to spend the evening. Would be better to have the girlfriend here but she's gotta work :(

So, I'm not 100% ready for "real" blogging but I'm getting there. Pretty soon I will actually create an original design for this blog. For right now, this will due.
Recently I've been doing some IE 7/IE 6 CSS/(X)HTML debugging for a pretty rad site. I can't really say much about it until I get the ok but I'll post on it soon. By the way, I can't wait for the day that IE 6 is no longer in the browser race. Don't people get that IE 6 sucks MORE than IE 7! That would at least make me a little happier if people realized that and moved to 7. Anywho, I'll quit ranting.
For this CSS/(X)HTML debugging I have actually found that the IE Developer Toolbar isn't too bad. It's definitely not Firebug. It definitely helps when you can use the Firebug Lite script because you don't really have access to files. I've been doing a little bit of testing and debugging for other people recently and didn't have access to their files.
I'm going to be talking about it a little at the next SDWS meeting. Best use of Firebug and IE Developer Toolbar for CSS and HTML debugging. The guys over at SuggestionBox will be graciously hosting again. It's in the Solana Beach area so if you feel like nerding out with a bunch of other nerds, listening to some crazy genius level dudes talk (I'm pretty smart but some of the other guys talking know way too much than any human should be aloud to know) and having some amazing beer from Pizza Port then stop by.

So recently, Josh Brewer of Brewer Design Group dropped a sweet nugget of info in my lap about Chyrp.
I've tried WordPress but it just seems like it's unnecessarily too much of a juggernaut for me. I don't mind learning something new, if it makes sense. Bloated installs trying to meet everyone's needs don't appeal too much to me.
